Organizing files is a tedious chore, especially when it comes to pictures. They have the same format and properties and you have to sort them based on their contents. With EazyFlixPix, managing images can become a simple operation. It allows you to categorize your pictures and sort them by various criteria, rank or favorite them and more.

The software is not free, but its trial version is fully functional. You can install it in a matter of seconds and you will not encounter any confusing options during the setup process. The program provides support for Windows XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 8 and it works on any mid-range computer.

EazyFlixPix has a clean and efficient user interface, which makes it quite easy to work with pictures. You can also import video files, generate thumbnails for individual videos, tag them and more. Pictures and videos can be organized separately, in different sections of the interface, which can be accessed via navigation buttons, in the upper left corner.

Options for importing videos and images can be found in the general settings menu, on different tabs. To import videos, you just need to browse for one or more folders, but you have to go through an extra step when importing pictures. Before you browse for a pictures folder, you must create categories, after which you may assign one or more paths to each category.

Created categories are displayed as thumbnails on the main interface. You can view image categories separately, but you can also view images from several categories, on the same window. All you have to do is select more categories in a tree structure, on the left side of the main window. Pictures are displayed together with a few options for rating them, viewing their tag information and viewing them in their original sizes.

If you are looking for a particular picture or video, you can set various search parameters, on a separate window. You can also sort your pictures by date, file name, size and rating, with a single click. Search settings can be saved and loaded at a later date. Other features include a dynamic layout, a hover mode, which displays files information when you place the mouse cursor over a picture or video, the possibility of playing slideshows and more.
